Board of Supervisors naming April 30, 2024, as “Jane Fonda Day.” For 49 years, the Vietnamese American community has commemorated April 30th as “Black April,” marking the day on which Saigon, the capitol of the former Vietnamese Republic, fell to the communist Viet Cong.

The bipartisan, bicameral legislation directs the Department of Education to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of antisemitism in federal anti-discrimination law enforcement.
