C. Scott Dudley, Director of Florida League of Cities and Director of Florida League of Mayors recently announced that Kayson Hawkins, son of Tray and Jessica Hawkins of Vernon, Florida had won First Place in the Annual Essay Contest hosted by those organizations.
‘Congratulations. One of your students, Kayson Hawkins, won first-place in the Florida League of Cities and Florida League of Mayors essay contest, “If I Were Elected Mayor” ‘, stated a letter received by Ms. Mims, one of Kayson’s teachers, from Dudley.
‘I will be in touch with you soon to schedule a date for the council meeting presentation’, finished Dudley.
