Whitmer Lays Out Impact Of Infrastructure Bill

Governor Gretchen Whitmer stopped in St. Clair Shores to discuss the nearly $4.8 billion infrastructure plan that will fix roads, water pipes, and more.

“Our new golden rule, right? Water should be in your glass, not your basement,” she said.

Whitmer says the bipartisan Building Michigan Together plan will help prevent flooding as well. The plan will also spend money to make high-speed internet available statewide.

“High speed internet is something that we all know we can’t live without anymore after the last 2 years. That’s been really are front and center for so many.”

Governor Whitmer plans to sign the bill soon.
