Buying the Essentials: “People can't take it. Because guess what, you buy a ten eggs at Walmart like I did Friday night, and it's nearly 10 bucks. The prices for things have gone through the roof. I am talking about just the essentials. No frills here. And I don't think President Biden was talking to the people who are feeling that pain.

The Balloon in the Room: “To talk about national security and not mention the fact that this [China] balloon went from the Aleutian Islands to Hilton Head, South Carolina. I mean, that's a pretty dang big deal.”

Dems are ok with Socialism: “Just back to your Kevin McCarthy comments… He has navigated some even so far some pretty difficult things. We voted on a bill on the evils of socialism. Who doesn't get that? Well, it turns out half the Democrats don't get that. And very graphically, he [McCarthy] demonstrated that of the 200 plus Democrats that are in Congress voted to say socialism is not a bad idea.”

Not Measuring Up: “And here's the bad news part of this. Their expectation, their fantasy is that we will be able to supply the energy needs of the country with offshore wind. I mean, this is the craziest thing I have ever heard. But I'm sitting right above Jennifer Granholm who's on the in the cabinet. And this is her. This is her main push. They want offshore wind to replace oil and gas in this country. He can't work.”
