CONGRESSMAN GOOD PARTNERS WITH VIETNAM WAR COMMEMORATION

April 28, 2022

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Good (R-VA) announced his partnership with the Vietnam War Commemoration to honor Vietnam veterans and their families who call the 5th Congressional District home.

The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration is a national 50th anniversary commemoration. It began with a Presidential inaugural event at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012, and concludes on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025. The primary objective is to thank and honor our Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice on behalf of our nation. Each participating veteran or family member will receive a commemorative lapel pin and certificate of special recognition as a token of our nation’s gratitude.

“I am proud to partner with the Vietnam War Commemoration to express America’s gratitude to eligible Vietnam-era veterans and their families,” said Representative Good. “This program offers well-deserved recognition to those most deserving of honor, the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms our Founders hoped would be preserved and passed on from each generation of Americans to the next. I commend their service and their bravery, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet and honor these veterans across Virginia’s 5th District.”
