Merry Christmas

A special message to the Third District of Arkansas from Santa and Mrs. Claus after Congressman Womack met them in the Capitol earlier this month! 

Merry Christmas!

I hope your day is filled with an abundance of health, happiness, and making memories with loved ones. I am looking forward to spending the holidays with family at home in Arkansas.

Christmas gives us all an opportunity to pause and remember the real things of importance in our lives. Along with the lights on the tree or lining homes across the neighborhood, the season is about illuminating joy, hope, and our blessings.

Let us remember all that is good and reflect on the reason for this holy time. We rejoice together as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. We embrace the greatness and miracles of God. And we spread words of grace and the spirit of giving. The messages of faith and hope are even more powerful following the challenges of the last two years.

I would like to take a moment to thank our hardworking men and women in uniform, law enforcement officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, first responders, and all those on duty throughout this season. Please join me in saying a prayer for their safety—and in appreciation of their service.
