NEW LEGISLATION ALERT: Restoring the American Homebuyers Dream Act
If you answered YES to the first survey question, you’ll be happy to learn I just introduced the Restoring the American Homebuyers Dream Act to help keep first-time homebuyers from being priced out of the market.
America is facing a severe housing affordability crisis. Prices are skyrocketing and supply is shrinking, making the dream of homeownership harder for everyday Arizona families. One major driver is the ITIN loophole, which allows illegal aliens to obtain mortgages and flood the market with artificial demand. In a tight housing market, this extra competition drives up prices for American citizens and legal residents who play by the rules.
My legislation closes this loophole, strengthens enforcement against housing fraud, and ensures homeownership remains within reach for the families who built this country. Arizona families should not have to compete against a broken system that puts them at a disadvantage in their own communities.
The American Dream of owning a home should not be an unattainable privilege. I’m fighting to restore fairness, reduce artificial demand, and put Arizona families first.
House Hearing Blows Open SPLC Scandal: Indicted for Funding KKK-Linked Extremists
This week, I participated in a U.S. House Judiciary Committee hearing exposing the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). This so-called “civil rights” group was recently federally indicted for funneling millions of dollars to individuals tied to violent extremist groups, including the Ku Klux Klan, while raising hundreds of millions by claiming to fight the very hate it was helping fund.
For years, the SPLC has smeared conservatives, Christians, and anyone who dared stand in their way. They gained even more power under the Biden-Harris Administration, which relied heavily on the SPLC for federal civil rights enforcement, including targeting traditional Catholics as potential terrorists.
Now, the mask is off. The evidence shows this organization has been fomenting the extremist ideologies it pretends to oppose, all while sitting on a massive nearly $800 million endowment built from fear-mongering donations.
Even Black scholars like Dr. Carol Swain, a longtime university professor, powerfully detailed how the SPLC destroyed her reputation simply for speaking the truth.

I will continue to do all I can to ensure we obtain answers on this very important issue. No American should ever be targeted for their religious or political beliefs.
