Economic Impact of Our Proposals

Last week, I spoke on the House Floor about a number of topics including the economic impact of our tax and spending proposals, and the importance of promoting honest infrastructure proposals to streamline our government processes and incorporate 21-century technology solutions.

We have seen the benefits pro-growth policies have had on our economy and society. After passing tax reform, we saw wages and productivity increase dramatically. As discussions continue surrounding infrastructure, tax increases, and new government spending, I am working to ensure our policies will support American families and businesses, without raising taxes.

Supporting Our Veterans and Gold Star Families

I was proud to join my colleagues in passing the Alexander Lofgren Veterans in Parks (VIP) Act last week. This legislation will give our veterans and Gold Star families free lifetime access to national parks and federal public lands, and was named in honor of Congressman Grijalva's staffer who passed away earlier this year in Death Valley National Park. 

I am honored to give our veterans and gold star families this lifetime access as a small token of our gratitude for their service. Our office works closely with veterans each day who are experiencing difficulty working with the VA or are looking for resources. If you are a veteran looking for assistance, please don't hesitate to contact my office.

Promoting Clean Energy Innovation

Last week, I joined my colleagues in re-introducing the Energy Sector Innovation Credit Act, bipartisan legislation that would create a energy tax proposal to encourage innovation in the clean energy sector to help rapidly scale-up and diversify new technologies. 

This pro-growth, economically responsible tax credit would provide a critical opportunities for investment in emerging clean energy technology, and take us one step closer in achieving energy independence. To learn more about the legislation, click here. 

Recognizing Arizonans

Do you know of a member of our community that is deserving of a Congressional Recognition based off their hard work, accomplishments, or community service?
