Dear Friend,
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you were able to spend time with your family. We truly have so much to be thankful for.
Celebrating Thanksgiving
On Thursday, I attended the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade in Fountain Hills. After the difficult year that many of us experienced, I was thankful to return and gather as a community for the holiday once again.
It has been a family tradition of mine to kick off Thanksgiving as a part of this parade – I have not missed a single one since it started 37 years ago!
Meeting With The Deputy Consul General of Israel-LA
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting with the Deputy Consul General of Israel-LA. We had a great discussion about the long-standing relationship between our two countries, and the strong ties that relationship has here in Arizona.
I am proud to always support and stand up for our great ally, Israel.
Happy Hanukkah!
I would like to wish a happy start of Hanukkah to all who celebrate. I hope your holiday is full of light, health and time spent with loved ones.
Variants of Concern
Last week, a new variant of COVID-19 called “Omicron” was identified in South Africa. While there have been no cases of this variant in the United States, I wanted to provide a few resources so you can be up to date on this new Coronavirus development:
For more information, resources, or help with Covid-related issues please visit the resource page on my website.
I truly hope you had a nice start to the holiday season. As always, I thank you for taking the time to get up to date on my work at home in AZ-06 and in our nation's Capital. Should you have any input, questions or are in need of assistance, do not hesitate to contact my office.
Sincerely,
David Schweikert
