District Update October 11, 2022

Dear ,

Nitazenes: The New Deadly Drug Coming Across our Southern Border

Nitazenes are 10x more powerful than fentanyl. And these lethal drugs are coming across our southern border at an alarming volume and dangerous rate.

The dramatic increase in drug trafficking is a direct result of Democrats’ failed, open border policies that have led to death and misery in Arizona and across the country. We must secure our border before more unnecessary lives are lost and more loved ones are taken away from us.

Honoring Our Nation's Heroes

I was honored to attend the Gold Star Family Memorial dedication ceremony at the Wesley Bolin Plaza at the Arizona State Capitol. This event formally dedicated a new memorial to the families of service members who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Families were allowed to place Gold Stars on the memorial with the names of their loved one’s that served.

We will never forget the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country.

Fighting for Arizona's Businesses

I had the pleasure of meeting with Tom Dunn and his staff from the Arizona Builder’s Alliance (ABA) last week. Arizona is home to some to some of the most impressive business developments in the country and has shown no sign of slowing down. And it is organizations like these that make expanding business opportunities in our state possible.

I will continue to work to remove red tape and regulation that creates obstacles for business growth. And I am proud to lead legislation on the House Ways and Means Committee that lowers taxes and creates opportunity for employers and employees across Arizona.

Need Help with a Federal Agency?

One of the most important things I do as a Representative in Congress is help constituents manage their interactions with federal agencies. My office can intervene on a person’s behalf to answer questions, find solutions or just cut through the red tape.

From the VA to passports and Medicare, there are dozens of agencies my office can assist you with. I encourage you to contact my District Office at (480) 946-2411 in order to have your concerns reviewed.

For more information, visit my website HERE.
