Visiting Marana Health Center During National Health Center Week.
For National Health Center Week, I visited our Marana Health Center, which has served 60,000 residents a year in Pima County since 1957 with medical, dental, and behavioral health care. Across the country, health centers have provided comprehensive and compassionate care to over 34 million Americans in 17,000 different locations. In 2024, health centers served over 870,000 Arizonans, which includes more than 325,000 in AZ06 alone! Health Centers are vital to providing essential health services to our urban and rural communities all over Arizona and AZ06, and I am incredibly grateful for the hard work of the 700 staffers at our Marana Health Center.

Breakfast with Business Leaders at Marana Mornings.
Last week, I had an amazing opportunity to speak to over 100 businesses and organizations at Marana Mornings, which included many of our community’s appliance store owners, financial planners, painters, plumbers, roofers, Boy Scouts, realtors, and more. I am extremely proud to represent the hardworking people whose businesses make our district a great place to live. I also provided several updates on the wins we have delivered for working families over the past couple of months in Washington D.C., including the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which the President signed into law on July 4th!

Speaking at the AZ Rock Products Association Future Leaders Program.
I talked to the impressive 7th class of the Arizona Rock Products Association (ARPA)’s Future Leaders Program. These rising leaders are the future of the rock products industry, and I encouraged them to get involved, share their expertise, and help shape Arizona’s future!
The ARPA is our state’s oldest mining association and has been a cornerstone of Arizona’s economy for over 65 years. ARPA represents companies that produce nearly all the aggregate materials in our state, along with suppliers, trucking firms, paving contractors, and other partners in the rock products industry. With an average industry workforce age of over 50, ARPA’s Future Leaders Program is crucial for introducing fresh energy, innovative ideas, and strong leadership into the field.

Meeting with Acacia Apothecary & Wellness Pharmacy Staff.
I stopped by Acacia Apothecary and Wellness, a local family-owned compounding pharmacy in Tucson that plays a critical role in ensuring patients from our community have access to affordable, customized medications. Compounding pharmacies create medications from scratch that are often less expensive than name-brand drugs. Independent pharmacists like those at Acacia Apothecary and Wellness are vital for our communities, especially during times of drug shortage. Their services proved essential during the COVID-19 pandemic when store and pharmacy shelves were bare, and these critical businesses stepped up to help our friends and neighbors with needed medications.
Access to reliable, affordable medications starts in our communities, and I’ll continue working to ensure our local pharmacies can provide that to patients without unnecessary red tape.

Welcomed New Citizens at a Naturalization Ceremony.
As the first naturalized U.S. citizen from Mexico to represent Arizona in federal office, I was honored to speak at a recent naturalization ceremony, presided over by my good friend Judge Mike Liburdi, where I witnessed 74 individuals from 24 different countries achieve their dream of becoming American citizens. Watching them take the oath reminded me of my journey nearly 19 years ago, when I sat in a similar room and became a U.S. citizen.
The naturalization ceremony marks the first step for these new Americans in achieving their own American Dream. That is nothing short of inspiring! If you are currently in the process of becoming a U.S. citizen and need assistance, my office is here to help! Submit your casework request here!

Ciscomani, colleagues support Arizona Army base for location of new space mission, squadron
Ripon Advance News
The U.S. Department of the Air Force should select the U.S. Army’s Fort Huachuca in southeast Arizona to establish a new U.S. Space Force mission system and squadron that will provide the Combatant Command with early threat detection and identification of space objects, said U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ). Panel of Pinal economic leaders say more infrastructure needed
Pinal Central
Ciscomani, who was not part of the panel discussion, said it was of great benefit to be able to simply listen in and gain an informed snapshot of the economic health of Pinal County. “This is one of the best ways that I can find out what’s going on across the county,” he said. Profiles of the American Dream.
This week, we salute Jerry Consiglio, Sierra Vista's oldest veteran and a member of the Greatest Generation who passed away last month just a few days shy of his 102nd birthday. Jerry was a beloved and well-known member of Sierra Vista’s veteran community for more than 40 years. He was a man of faith. He was honest. Worked hard. Had a sarcastic sense of humor. And as his granddaughter told the Herald/Review for the story they wrote about his passing, “he’d give it to you straight.” Jerry was also a patriot – one of those quietly courageous guys who make the American Dream possible for all of us. Jerry survived two of the bloodiest battles of World War II: the invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He didn’t talk about those experiences much, but he never forgot. “I try not to think about it, but it still comes back to me and tears me up,” he once said. “What I saw and went through there … We got the worst of it at Utah Beach. I never want to see anything like that again.” Jerry’s service to our country earned him two Bronze Stars and left him with an unstoppable determination to make the very most of every day that came afterward. And that he did. Jerry worked as an automobile and aerospace mechanic in California after the war, eventually moving to Sierra Vista with his wife Nancy. He designed and built their home and filled his retirement with activities - hobbies, gardening projects, going to church and getting together with friends at the neighborhood McDonald’s or the Cochise Health and Racquet Club.
“He was always conscious of doing what was right,” his granddaughter said. “He kept the standards of what he felt God wanted him to do.” You will be missed, Jerry. Rest in peace.
