County COVID-19 Cases Snapshot

Since our last update, the 3rd District experienced 10,570 new cases of COVID-19, and sadly 25 more of our fellow community members lost their lives to the virus. Currently, the counties in our Congressional District have a total of 486,921 confirmed cases and an average COVID-19 positivity rate of 10.9%. Unfortunately, over the last 7 days, we have seen a 2.1% increase in the average positivity of the counties in our district.

County COVID-19 Vaccination Snapshot

All Californians 5 years and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine booster. You can find an available vaccination appointment by visiting the state's My Turn website here. California has administered a total of 76,658,096 vaccine doses. Since our last update, counties in the 3rd District have administered 19,785 doses, bringing the total number of doses administered to 4,503,371. The State Government is responsible for distributing the vaccine and setting eligibility standards.
