Yesterday, I honored 58 women from the 3rd Congressional District at my 9th Annual Women of the Year event at Woodland Community College. These 58 women have all made positive contributions to their communities through public service, advocacy, or volunteerism. 

Each year, I am privileged to recognize the selfless and devoted women who help make California’s 3rd district so special. The invaluable service each honoree has given to their community is deserving of recognition. By presenting our 2022 Women of the Year with these awards, their achievements will be recorded and preserved in the official Congressional Record. I applaud our honorees for their selfless dedication to serving their community.

I am incredibly proud of how diligently our 2022 Women of the Year serve their communities every day. From protecting reproductive rights to adequately funding childcare services, I am committed to working hard in Congress to defend the rights and equal access to opportunities of women in our community and country.
