Dear Community Member,

As we endure another battering of storms, please know that the federal government is here to help.  I’m closely monitoring the severe weather our communities are experiencing, and I’m in close contact with local, state, and federal partners to ensure we have the resources in place to respond to this emergency and continue to recover.  I applaud President Joe Biden’s swift emergency declaration for California and our communities today which will help ensure federal assistance to supplement our local response efforts.

Staying informed on the latest emergency and evacuation notices is essential to keeping yourself, your family, and our neighbors safe.
