Tonight at 5:00 PM, I’m hosting a telephone town hall to talk about the President’s reconciliation tax bill which was recently signed into law.

I’ll be joined by medical experts and health care leaders from the California Medical Association and the California Hospital Association who will speak to the potential impacts of this purely partisan legislation, especially on Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.

This legislation could cause over 12 million Americans to lose coverage, impose new paperwork burdens and copays, and cap provider funding that supports Medi-Cal in California. For many working families, seniors, people with disabilities, and seasonal workers in our community, the consequences will be harmful.
