Dear Community Member,

The United States Postal Service (USPS) notified me that mail pick-up hours for Almaden Valley PO Box customers and notice-left mail will be extended at the Willow Glen Post Office located at 1750 Meridian Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.

Starting Saturday, August 16, the expanded hours at the Willow Glenn Post Office are:

• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  

Immediately after the Almaden Valley Post Office was damaged, I wrote a letter to the leadership of the USPS to request expanded hours for Almaden Valley Post Office customers at the Willow Glenn Post Office, as well as:

• A clear public timeline for repairing and reopening the Almaden Valley Post Office.
• Full transparency on planning, contracting, and construction progress.
• Continued communication with my office throughout the process.
  

The Almaden Valley Post Office is an essential part of our community, and I’m committed to making sure it is restored as quickly and safely as possible.
