Kicking off the 119th Congress

A MESSAGE FROM CONGRESSWOMAN KAMLAGER-DOVE:

Dear Friend,

Last Friday, I was sworn in to serve as your Congresswoman in the U.S. House of Representatives. For the next two years, I will be laser focused on delivering for Angelenos and our community here in California’s 37th district. I am eager to continue L.E.A.Ding in Washington by protecting our Land and the environment, fighting to advance Economic justice, advocating for the Arts and LA creatives, and defending Democracy at home and abroad.

Which of my L.E.A.D. priorities is most important to you heading into 2025?

The days ahead may be uncertain, but one thing is clear: I will work with anyone to lower costs and make life more affordable for you and your family–and I’ll take on anyone who stands in the way. I am clear-eyed about the challenges we face and prepared to fight like hell on behalf of all Angelenos.

Congresswoman Kamlager-Dove is ceremonially sworn in by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries alongside family.

As the newly elected Whip of the Congressional Black Caucus, I am committed to protecting our most vulnerable communities over the next four years. I look forward to using my position to help lead the 62-member strong voting bloc, ensuring that Angelenos' voices are heard at the highest levels of leadership in Washington.

I am honored to continue representing our community. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

As always, I encourage you to contact my offices with any comments or concerns about my work in Congress, the 37th District, or any other matters. Please connect with me on FacebookTwitter, Bluesky, and Instagram to stay up to date on my work in Congress. If you are experiencing issues with Social Security, passports, immigration, or another Federal agency, send in a casework request, and my staff will be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,
