SgtMaj Cottle and LCpl Centanni were Yorba Linda residents, friends and brothers-in-arms who gave everything to protect the American values and freedoms we hold dear.

While we lost them too soon, their lives were not lived in vain. I hope that through the new Cottle Centanni Post Office Building, we can show our gratitude and ensure their names and stories of friendship, service and sacrifice are remembered by future generations in their hometown.

We need all hands on deck and all the tools in our arsenal during a wildfire. Fire retardant has proven to be safe and effective for containing and mitigating wildfires. Last week, I helped introduce a bill to ensure its continued use.

As the representative of many wildfire-prone areas, including in the canyon communities of Orange County, I will keep fighting to support common sense policies to protect our communities.

I visited Villa Park High School to tour the new science center, catch up with students and faculty and meet with the Villa Park Cheer and Pom team that placed 2nd in nationals! Thank you all for the warm welcome.

It's always a great day to be a Spartan!

TikTok is not only a national security threat, it’s addicting our kids.

At this week’s Financial Services Committee National Security and Illicit Finance Subcommittee hearing, I asked if social media companies are doing enough to prevent fentanyl sales on their platforms.

I'll keep working to ensure the U.S. continues to lead on the world stage.

Great to meet with Orange County students on their 8th grade trip.

It was lovely talking to them, I am always working in Congress to fight for students.

Productive Indo-Pacific Subcommittee hearing this week on the Pacific Islands.

As we see rising threats from the Chinese Communist Party, keeping our word to our freedom-loving allies in the region is vital to bolstering U.S. global leadership and maintaining a free world.

Team Young was thrilled to participate in the Mission Viejo Army Career Center’s ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Mission Viejo Chamber.

We heard from local army recruiting team about challenges they are seeing with recruiting and outreach.

This week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Providing Appropriate Recognition and Treatment Needed to Enhance Relations (PARTNER) with ASEAN Act, a bipartisan bill that I introduced with Rep. Joaquin Castro (TX-20).

Ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific, especially as we see economic and security threats posed by the Chinese Communist Party in the region and the Belt and Road Initiative, requires the United States to bolster relations with Southeast Asian countries. Without meaningful engagement, we leave the region little choice but to turn to the CCP.

Thank you to the Humane Society for the Legislative Leaders award!

I’m working in Congress to put an end to animal cruelty and testing practices and promote a more humane world.

This week, I met with Tustin residents, Gia and her mother, who traveled to D.C. to represent the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. We discussed the critical need to fund investments in medical research to counter life threatening conditions like brain aneurysms.

Thank you, Gia, for sharing your story and advocating for brain aneurysm awareness.
