I joined a House Veterans Affairs Committee hearing in Oceanside to discuss ways to uplift our California veterans and reduce veteran homelessness. I will keep working to support those who have answered the call to serve in our nation's uniform.

I enjoyed meeting NASA astronaut Lee Morin and Artemis team members to celebrate the success of NASA Artemis Artemis I at Kirkhill Industries in Brea. Southern California manufacturers are building the tools to help the U.S. explore new horizons. I look forward to keeping in touch!

As we celebrate AAPI Heritage Month, I joined community leaders at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda to celebrate #APAHM and find ways to support one another and help make a difference for future generations in CA-40 and across Southern California.

As we mark 50 years since U.S. troops left Vietnam, I joined the VFW Post 3173 Anaheim, CA Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Dinner.

I will always fight to protect the benefits our veterans have earned as we honor them & their service.

It’s Small Business Week! I am proud to represent so many amazing small businesses that are creating jobs & supporting our CA-40 communities.

I’m fighting on the Financial Services Committee to help entrepreneurs cut through red tape and access the capital they need to achieve their dream.

Innovation is the key to unlocking our nation’s energy future, and companies like TAE Technologies are leading the way to make that happen through breakthroughs in fusion energy.

I joined Fusion Caucus chair Rep.Don Beyer & Rep. Mike Levin for a tour of TAE Technologies's headquarters in #CA40!

The NASA Artemis Artemis I launch could only happen because of many local manufacturers behind the scenes. I joined NASA leadership to celebrate over 50 Southern California suppliers who are paving the way for the U.S. to reestablish our presence on the moon. THANK YOU!

Great visit to Saddleback College in Mission Viejo! I appreciated touring the campus, meeting the veterans resource center team, and discussing educational programs with President Elliot Stern and South Orange County Community College District Chancellor Dr. Julianna Barnes.

As a wife and sister of U.S. Army veterans, supporting those who have served in our nation’s uniform is deeply personal to me. I will always fight to make sure our veterans get the services that they deserve. I wrote a letter to VA Secretary Denis McDonough to ensure the VA should be focused on providing quality care to our veterans, not misleading veterans and the American public for political purposes.

Last Saturday afternoon was filled with food, friends, and fun at the Orange Park Acres Family Picnic and Fair at Salem Lutheran School!

I am honored to represent Orange Park Acres in CA-40 and work with community members to celebrate and preserve the historic equestrian community.

I welcome the reports regarding the Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank failures. This is a first step to provide much needed transparency on the federal government’s response and assess whether any supervisory changes are needed.

Unfortunately, the Fed’s report—released under the leadership of Vice Chair Barr—misses the mark and deflects blame from the Fed’s own regulatory missteps to a bipartisan law that tailored regulations and supervision. I will continue pressing for accountability and transparency as a member of the Financial Services Committee, and I look forward to hearing from regulators and learning more about their decision making in May.

The Mission Viejo Community of Character Committee helps residents become leaders of integrity focused on making a difference in our city, our nation, and the world.

I enjoyed meeting Committee participants and join in celebrating the honorees and the Committee's 20th anniversary!

Team Young joined Reborn Cabinets Inc. owners Vinny and Brenda Nardo to celebrate 40 years of their family-owned business headquartered in Anaheim.

While the company has grown from humble beginnings, they remain focused on their family and giving back to the community. Congratulations!

The reports of the Biden administration’s careless treatment of unaccompanied minors are not only appalling but go against our nation’s values and must be addressed immediately.

I wrote to the Biden administration to demand answers. As an immigrant who came here legally, visiting the border and seeing firsthand migrants making the dangerous journey here is heartbreaking. There is nothing fair, humane, or compassionate about what we are seeing at our Southern border due the Biden administration’s policies. I will keep working to address this crisis, secure the border, and fix our broken immigration system.

Team Young was able to attend the one-year anniversary and ribbon cutting of Rolls Ice Cream in Laguna Hills.

Make sure to roll on by for a sweet treat and say hi to owner Abdul and his family, who are living their American dream in Orange County.

This week, we celebrated International Firefighters Day!

I am thankful for our brave firefighters for their work to keep our CA-40 communities safe and will keep fighting in Congress to ensure they have the resources they need to do their jobs.

Amazing to catch up with Trabuco Hills High School students, faculty, and staff and see some of their innovative programs, from their Spyder lab to their ceramics classroom.

Thank you for having me, and go Mustangs!

I enjoyed visiting the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) and hearing about the OCV!BE development that will bring new jobs and opportunities to Orange County and positively impact our region with new housing, entertainment venues, and green space.

I was honored to kick of Taiwanese American Heritage Week and celebrate AAPI Heritage Month at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles. Thank you for having me!

Congratulations to ActivCare Living in Laguna Hills on your one- year anniversary and ribbon cutting! By engaging those with memory loss, ActivCare is devoted to enhancing life and serving the needs of our senior residents in our communities.

Protecting our seniors is a top priority of mine in Congress.

Kim Jong-un oppresses the North Korean people through torture, imprisonment, forced labor, and starvation in his quest to expand North Korea’s nuclear weapons program and gain military power. These gross human rights abuses cannot be tolerated and cannot go unchecked.

I’m proud to introduce the North Korean Human Rights Reauthorization Act so the United States takes concrete steps to counter the North Korean regime, promote human rights for the people of North Korea, and lead the world as a beacon for hope, freedom, and democracy.

I was able to grab a bite at Bagel Me in Villa Park and talk to the long-time business owner.

Hearing from our small businesses is key to ensuring a thriving economy and community that provides goods and services, as well as jobs. I will always support our small businesses!

The Millennium Challenge Corporation is leading the fight against global poverty, especially as families around the world are hurting from rising inflation, food supply chain disruptions, and increased conflict. It also serves as an important alternative to the People’s Republic of China’s Belt and Road Initiative to create opportunities for economic growth in developing countries.

I am proud to co-lead this bipartisan bill to give the MCC more flexibility to foster transparent U.S. financing options in the countries that need it the most.

Glad to come together to support our Chino Hills community!

Love Yorba Linda was a success with 1,000 volunteers doing 50 community service projects. Team Young helped mulch, clean benches and tables, and write appreciation notes to teachers.

We should never underestimate the difference we can make when we come together!

ATTENTION CA-40! Unfortunately, my office is getting more inquiries from constituents who have been victims of financial scams.

Please be aware of online financial predators and scammers who are stealing identities, money and private information. Protect your finances and be careful on who you trust online.
