The transfer of 39 death row inmates to the California Institution for Men prison in Chino poses serious safety concerns for Chino Hills residents, and people are rightfully alarmed.

I wrote to Governor Newsom to listen to our community and protect public safety.

Communities I represent face increased public safety concerns, risks of wildfires, and are just a two-hour drive away from the worst border crisis in history.

This week, I voted to pass the FY25 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill, which includes resources I secured to protect public safety and strengthen our national security.

Good news! The FY25 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill we passed this week included vital community project funding I fought for to help Chino Hills reduce wildfire risks by removing dead brush and wildfire fuel near urban areas. I will continue to do my part to protect our communities.

Amazing to welcome our 2024 Congressional Art Competition Winner, Orange Lutheran High School junior Mary Jane Pfaff from Tustin, to DC! Her oil paint piece, “Gazing Through the Lens of Perception,” symbolizes multiple viewpoints that highlight the elusive nature of perception.

I had a great time at the Richard Nixon Foundation's 5K Run and Walk for Title IX, which was signed into law by President Nixon 52 years ago and opened so many doors for women and girls, including my daughters. So fun to catch up with our Yorba Linda community and celebrate CA-40 athletes!

Communities I represent are hurting from this border crisis that has become worse than ever before under the policies of the Biden administration.

I'm proud my bipartisan amendment to force this administration to finally create a strategy to secure every mile of the Southern border was added to the Homeland Security Appropriations bill that passed the House.

This week, I chaired my House Foreign Affairs' Subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific hearing titled, "Properly Resourcing the Indo-Pacific in an Era of Great Power Competition."

We are at a crossroads in the Great Power Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). During this time, we must choose to show up for our allies, or risk ceding our leadership to the CCP.

The 4th Annual Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce Car Show was a success! Great to catch up with our Laguna Hills community and check out some amazing cars.

My bipartisan amendment to support the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System was added to the FY25 Homeland Security Appropriations bill.

Urban Search and Rescue task forces, including nine in the West led by Orange County Fire Authority Chief Fennessy, are critical to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) disaster response.

Swimming lessons allow children to learn lifesaving skills, gain confidence, and make lifelong friends. I’m glad Team Young could join the Tustin Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the grand opening of Big Blue Swim School. Welcome to the community!

At this week's House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy hearing, I demanded transparency for taxpayers on the Federal Reserve's Stress Test decisions.

I will continue to fight to ensure that families and entrepreneurs have access to capital to grow their wealth and achieve their American dream.

Team Young joined HomeAid Orange County and CalOptima to break ground on La Veta Village, which will create more affordable housing and refurbish three historic homes in Orange for families and seniors in need.

Delivering for CA-40 is my top priority.

In Congress, I secured resources through the FY24 appropriations packages for vital projects in CA-40 that protect public health, support law enforcement, and keep our communities safe.
