Last week, I held a teletown hall with special guest, Ken Corbin, the IRS Chief Taxpayer Experience Officer. It was great to hear from our neighbors and share resources and information to assist with filing your taxes. Ken went into great detail and provided a wealth of knowledge to make tax filing season a little less stressful this year. If you missed our town hall, you can watch the full event below.  

You might be eligible for certain tax credits and deductions that can increase your refund, such as the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit. If you have an Adjusted Gross Income of $73,000 or less, you can file online for free with IRS Free File. For free income tax filing assistance in Connecticut, click here.
