| Dear Friends,
Last year, we passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in Congress, investing more than $6 billion to Connecticut for needed infrastructure improvements, including funding to advance the Hartford400 proposal, a comprehensive multimodal transportation and economic development plan to revitalize the region and provide benefits for its residents.
The Reconnecting Communities Pilot program is the first ever federal program to reconnect neighborhoods cut off from opportunity by infrastructure such as highways.
The Department of Transportation is now accepting applications for the Reconnecting Communities program. Applications are due on Thursday, October 13th. For those interested in applying, there will be a webinar tomorrow, July 14th, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. You can register HERE.
Should you have any questions, please contact my District Office at 860-278-8888.
Regards,
