I hope that you and your family are staying healthy during this challenging time. Over the last few weeks, my office has heard from countless constituents who struggled to find an at-home test for COVID-19. Today, I’m happy to share with you that the federal government has launched an initiative to ship COVID-19 tests directly to your front door through the U.S. Postal Service. 

Each household qualifies for four tests, and you can request them today by visiting COVIDTests.gov. You can expect orders to ship in about 7-12 days. Those without internet access or those needing additional support can call 1-800-232-0233. Those who live in multi-family units should fill out the form carefully to ensure that the tests reach the correct location.

As a reminder, you can also get tested for COVID-19 at one of Connecticut’s in-person testing sites. With roughly 400 options, visit 211ct.org/covidtesting to find a convenient location for you.
