Standing Up To Communist China

Dear Neighbor,

As your representative in Congress, I am honored to be your voice and to continue standing up to the dangerous Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This Congress, my Republican colleagues and I have already taken great strides to stand up to Communist China I wanted to provide a brief update on what we've accomplished. Additionally, as the devastating situation evolves in Afghanistan, I'm increasingly concerned about American weapons and technology falling into the CCP's hands. The threat to our homeland from China has never been greater and I'm committed to doing all in our power to prevent this.

CCP Politburo Accountability Act

Earlier this year, I proudly introduced the Chinese Communist Party Politburo Accountability Act, a bill to hold CCP officials responsible for their IP theft, anti-American political warfare, and severe human rights abuses.

In our own backyard this spring, a Chinese Communist spy at the University of Florida stole research dollars and university funding for research sponsored by the CCP. Their blatant disregard for human rights, on top of their intellectual property crimes, must be addressed accordingly.

I also signed on to Congressman Mike Gallagher's (WI-08) H.Res. 500, a resolution condemning the Communist Party for 100 years of gross human rights violations. While the CCP continues their internment and gross treatment of the Uyghurs, we're committed to pointing out these disgusting behaviors.
