Today, the House is voting on the radical Democrats' Inflation Expansion Act.

This bill is an insult to the American people. While folks are making the choice between paying for gas or groceries, Democrats are emboldening the IRS to spy on law-abiding citizens, funding their Green New Deal agenda, raising taxes on the lower and middle classes, and worsening the state of inflation. 

I’m voting HELL NO, and I've encouraged my Republican colleagues to do the same.

Addressing Democrats' 'Green New Deal' Agenda

This week, I sat down with Fox Business to discuss the new proposed taxes on U.S. energy. If it isn't bad enough that Democrats want to raise taxes during a recession, they're also using the insane Inflation Expansion Act to subsidize electric vehicles. That’s right—despite fact that the majority of Americans paying top dollar to fill their gas tanks, Biden believes working class taxpayers should subsidize electric vehicle purchases for the wealthy.

Americans are hurting, and this administration is just adding insult to injury with this bill. And unfortunately, they'll continue to do so as long as they hold the majority.

Hiring Of New IRS Agents: By The Numbers

The Inflation Reduction Act being voted on this week provides funding for 87,000 new IRS agents. For us Gator fans, that's Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at maximum capacity.

This bill intentionally weaponizes the IRS with about $80 billion in new funds that Biden’s army will use to intimidate and harass middle class Americans, not wealthy taxpayers who can afford the best tax lawyers money can buy. This is insanity. Republicans are fighting to stop this bill.

Visiting Seminole Electric In Palatka

Last week, I stopped by the Seminole Electric Cooperative site in Palatka to meet with leadership, tour the facility, and learn more about the hardworking team that powers 1.9 million consumers in 42 of Florida's 67 counties.

Seminole’s primary resources include the Seminole Generating Station (SGS) in Palatka and another facility in south central Florida. As energy prices continue to go up across the country due to inflation, the Seminole team is hard at work to serve customers and support domestic energy production.
