DHS Seeking Military Volunteers To Help With Migrant Crisis At Border

On Monday, I joined Cavuto: Coast to Coast to discuss the latest Biden scheme—recruiting military volunteers to help manage the crisis at the border. They're now asking our nation's military to help with everything from running to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions, managing migrants' belongings, and more.

This is shameful, and we wouldn't be in this mess if Biden took this crisis seriously. We need to secure our southern border, and Republicans have a plan to do just that.

The 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) was a critical piece of Republican legislation that delivered relief for American families. We need it now more than ever to help American families struggling with inflation. H.R. 8913, the TCJA Permanency Act will:

• Make permanent tax cuts for individuals and small businesses
• Allow parents with 529 plans to utilize money they save on homeschooling costs
• Eliminate the student loan forgiveness exclusion
• Preserve the 20 percent deduction for small businesses
• Simplify the tax filing process

Last week we visited Dakin Dairy Farms in Myakka City, Florida while assessing some of the damage to our agricultural operations following Hurricane Ian. Dakin Dairy is a family-owned operation providing fresh milk and other dairy products to Floridians since 1973! It was a pleasure to speak with the family and the team who keeps the operation going strong.
