Chief Andrew K. Baker's Legacy Honored Through Passage Of House Bill
Dear Neighbor,
It's a big week in Florida's Third Congressional District, because our office passed a bill out of the U.S. House of Representatives to officially designate the Middleburg VA Clinic in Clay County after Chief Andrew K. Baker who died while serving our country in 1997. After years of working on this project, it’s extremely rewarding to finally see it come to fruition. On behalf of Ms. Tina Baker, Andrew’s widow, and all who had the honor of serving with Chief Baker, I’m proud to say that the A.K. Baker VA Clinic is no longer a dream—it’s a reality.
We'd also like to remind folks that today is the last day to submit a nomination for the Veteran of the Year award. This honor is extended to one special veteran from our district each year. If you know a veteran deserving of this award, visit our website at cammack.house.gov to submit a nomination.
With all that's happening this Congress, it is my greatest honor to represent you and hear from you about the issues that matter most. You can read below about what we've been up to this week, and as always, you can stay up to date with us here, on our website, and on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
In Liberty,
