Rep. Cammack Meets With UF Institute Of Food & Agricultural Sciences (IFAS)

Image

Recently, executive directors from the UF Institute of Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) stopped by our Washington, D.C. office! UF/IFAS is dedicated to developing knowledge in agriculture, human and natural resources, and the life sciences. We sat down to discuss some of their most recent agricultural projects and highlights in Florida's Third Congressional District.

Big thanks to the UF/IFAS extension in Newberry for hosting me and the House Agriculture Committee during last week's Farm Bill Listening Session!

Celebrating FL-03 Farmers At Suwannee CARES Sustainability Awards

Image

This week, I was honored to attend the Suwannee County Alliance for Responsible Environmental Stewardship (CARES) celebration, where farm families in Florida's Third were awarded for their sustainability efforts. More than 450 farmers, ranchers, and members of the surrounding community came together to honor our North Central Florida farmers for all they do to advance environmental stewardship.

It was an honor to see our FL-03 community gather for this special occasion. Big thanks to the UF IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center for hosting this important celebration!

Joining Marion County Fire & Rescue For Administrative Professionals' Day

Image

This week, I joined the Marion County Fire & Rescue for Administrative Professionals’ Day! Our local fire departments do so much to serve our FL-03 communities, and as the wife of a first responder, I understand the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes to run these operations.

I spoke to these hardworking professionals about my background as a previous congressional staffer, and the work I'm doing in Congress to help advance mental health for our first responders around the nation.

Big thanks to MCFR for having me!

Rep. Cammack Joins The Evening Edit To Discuss Inflation And 1% GDP Growth Under Biden Administration

Image

This week, I joined the Evening Edit on Fox Business to discuss our nation's stagnant GDP growth under Biden's failing economy. This administration has made their number-one priority turning equal opportunities into equal outcomes, and the American people are suffering the consequences. We all know this is not sustainable, and Republicans are prepared to bring down inflation and restore economic freedom for all.

More 'Kat In The News'

Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on a new Biden administration rule which will have homebuyers with good credit pay more in order to subsidize riskier borrowers. "I went from homeless to the House of Representatives. I worked really hard, my husband and I, to establish good credit. I mean, that is really seriously basically a part time job. If you have had bad credit and you're trying to rebuild your credit or just even establish good credit, it is a dedicated effort."

Neither President Joe Biden nor his administration can handle the threat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Florida Republican Rep. Kat Cammack told Newsmax. Cammack tells "American Agenda" on Monday that "Biden is in no way capable of prohibiting or handling this threat that the CCP poses — not just to the United States but to the West as we know it." "There's one default setting that the CCP has, and that is intimidation," Cammack continued. "They are marching around the world establishing ties with countries, and oftentimes through brute force — through coercion."
