Happy New Year! I hope that you, your family, and friends had a blessed holiday season. As we head into this new year, I am honored to continue representing and advocating for you in Congress.

I am proud to announce that in 2023, our office helped 2,443 constituents with casework, responded to 29,414 constituent emails and phone calls, and recovered $17,106,550 that belong to you: our constituents. 

While Congress won't be back in session until next week, it was great to be back in the district to kick off 2024. This week, I had the distinct honor of recognizing and celebrating our 2023 Veteran of the Year, Levy County's Veteran Services Director, Mr. Olajuwon White. We streamed the ceremony on Facebook Live, which you can watch here or below.

This week, I also had the privilege of speaking on NewsNation and Fox Business about the ongoing issues we must tackle this year, chief among them the border crisis. Did you know that there are more illegal immigrants coming into our country every day than American babies being born? We need to hold the Biden administration accountable and stop this dangerous tide.

Last year, we helped over 2,400 constituents navigate the complex bureaucracy of our federal agencies. We have returned over $17 million to constituents in Florida's Third since 2021. Honoring Our 2023 Veteran Of The Year

Yesterday we honored our 2023 Veteran of the Year, Levy County's Veteran Services Director, Mr. Olajuwon White. He served our nation in the Navy and now works to serve hundreds of veterans in Levy County. 

We honored him with a special ceremony in our Gainesville District Office with members of his family and the Levy County Board of Commissioners. 

Road Safety Funds For Ocala

This week, our office announced over $100,000 for the City of Ocala to improve road safety in school zones and in residential neighborhoods.

Non-Negotiable Border Security

I joined NewsNation this week to talk about the record-setting last month at the border with over 302K encounters. As Congress returns to work in the new year, border security is non-negotiable. We must secure our southern border before we begin to discuss any other aid.

It's time to do what's right after years of the Biden administration's failings. We need the Senate to pass H.R. 2 and stop this crisis before it gets any worse.

Biden's Border Failure

This week, I spoke with Cheryl Casone on Mornings With Maria about the Biden administration's border failure.

In 2023, America saw thousands of illegal immigrants flood into our country on a daily basis. We know President Biden has enabled human trafficking, drug trafficking, and forced Border Patrol to stand down. It's a shame and it has to be one of our top priorities when Congress returns to Washington next week. 

Tightening The Purse Strings

This week on The Bottom Line with Dagen & Duffy on Fox Business, I spoke with Dagan McDowell and Sean Duffy to discuss the Biden Border Crisis and the thousands of illegal immigrants crossing our border.
