Dear Neighbor,
Congress convened this week to address the border crisis plaguing our country and passed another continuing resolution to keep government funding levels current until later this spring. I voted against this continuing resolution because it does not solve our border crisis and keeps enabling the Biden administration to destroy our sovereignty and our pocketbooks. Keeping Nancy Pelosi's budget from years past does nothing for the American people but send our children and grandchildren into deeper debt.
While in Washington this week, the Energy & Commerce Committee was busy with hearings to discuss college athletes and the effects of the Biden Border Crisis. I also had the honor of speaking at a Pro-Life Caucus press conference on Thursday ahead of some pro-life events in D.C. this weekend. It is critical to the wellbeing of our unborn babies to protect the sanctity and quality of life. You can listen to my remarks below.
Back home is Florida's Third, I recently had the honor of attending two important events in our community. Newberry held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Publix that will be open in 2025, and the Trooper B Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary held their annual banquet where I had the chance to thank our heroes for all they do to keep our communities safe.
Next week is a district week, and I look forward to seeing many of you in Gainesville and Ocala.
With all that's happening this Congress, it is my greatest honor to represent you and hear from you about the issues that matter most. You can read below about what we've been up to this week, and as always, you can stay up to date with us here, on our website, and on X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. |
