Dear Friend,

We have liftoff! Today, SpaceX and NASA successfully launched the Dragon rocket from Cape Canaveral to the International Space Station. This marks the beginning of a new era of exploration and innovation, with America and Florida at the center.

This is an especially exciting time for our state and our community. Space is in our DNA and has been an important part of our history. Once again, our country is reaching for the stars from American soil.

I was grateful to attend the launch with President Trump and Vice President Pence, who have been leading on space since day one.
