Political violence has no place in America, yet Democratic leaders are calling for it.

This week, Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer went on national television and urged Americans to “forcefully rise up” against the government in response to the indictment of radical left-wing New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Let that sink in: The U.S. Senate Minority Leader openly called for a forceful uprising even as Antifa militants attack ICE agents in Chicago and rioters clash with police in Portland.

Today, the same radical far-left groups who influenced Democrats to shut down the government are back at it, organizing “No Kings” (aka “Hate America”) protests meant to undermine our law enforcement, Commander-in-Chief and American values.

Enough is enough.

As I said in my recent op-ed on political violence, words matter, and the temperature of our rhetoric matters. We cannot allow Democrats to normalize chaos and excuse attacks on those who wear the badge.

It’s time for Democrats to stop treating our law enforcement officers like political punching bags and start putting the American people first.
The American people don’t want riots, shutdowns or radical uprisings.

They want Democrats to do their job and vote to reopen the government, pay our troops and federal law enforcement officers, and stop grandstanding.

Let me know if you agree that we need leaders who will stand up for law and order and do what’s right for the American people.

Chuck Schumer Calls for “Forceful” Uprising in Response to Letitia James Indictment

Jordan Conradson

Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY) on Sunday responded to Letitia James’s mortgage fraud indictment, saying his radical-left militants “should be forcefully rising up against” the government.

This comes as liberal rioters and Antifa militants are already forcefully rising up against federal law enforcement conducting immigration enforcement operations in Chicago and Portland.

A federal grand jury on Thursday returned an indictment charging New York State Attorney General Letitia James with Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.

Schumer employed the Democratic talking points that Trump is weaponizing justice and that Trump fired US Attorney Erik Seibert because he wouldn’t pursue the case against Letitia James. “I withdrew the Nomination of Erik Siebert as U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, when I was informed that he received the UNUSUALLY STRONG support of the two absolutely terrible, sleazebag Democrat Senators, from the Great State of Virginia,” Trump announced on Truth Social last month.

“He didn’t quit, I fired him! Next time let him go in as a Democrat, not a Republican.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Kamala Harris gave a similar rant in an interview with MSNBC on Saturday, claiming that Seibert was ousted because he “reviewed the evidence and decided that there was not enough facts to charge her with a crime.”

Schumer claimed in his interview with MSNBC's Al Sharpton that the Department of Justice, "under every other president, Democrat or Republican, pursued the law and went after people who broke the law," but now, Trump is using the Department as his own "personal attack dog."

"That is what dictatorships do. That's what tyranny is all about."
Schumer must have forgotten what Biden did to the leading Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, siccing his own personal attack dog, Jack Smith, as well as various state prosecutors, including Letitia James, on him.

The gaslighting will never stop with these people. The Democrats, despite engaging in criminal activity themselves, weaponized justice against Trump, failed to stop him, and now they're claiming that they're the victims.

"It is just such a hallmark of tyrannical, autocratic dictatorship societies that they use the prosecutorial department as a political weapon. It is a disgrace, and every American, I don't care if you're Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative, moderate people, should be forcefully rising up against this," Schumer said in a clear attempt to rile up the radical Democrat base and cause chaos and destruction.

WATCH:

Sharpton: Let's talk about Trump's weaponization of the Justice Department. On Thursday, federal prosecutors indicted your and my State's Attorney General, Letitia James, for alleged mortgage fraud. Criminal charges against former National Secretary John Bolton could come as early as next week. You said, This is what tyranny looks like. Can you explain that?

Schumer: Yes, they have made the Justice Department, which under every other president, Democrat or Republican, pursued the law and went after people who broke the law, they have made it into Trump's personal attack dog. That is what dictatorships do. That's what tyranny is all about. And they did it with Tish James. She had a legitimate case, she pursued it, she actually won, so Trump is now trying to get back at her, but the case is so weak that even Trump's first prosecutor, who he appointed, said there's not a case here. So, he fired that one and put a new prosecutor in, who would do whatever he wants.

But I talked to Tish James a half hour after the indictment came through. She is strong, she is tough, she is resolute, and she is confident, as am I, that these charges will be rejected because they have no basis, no basis in law or in fact. So, I respect her. She's my friend, and it's, you know, they're doing something vicious to her.

Sharpton: Now, sticking with Letitia James’s indictment for a moment, the New York Times is reporting the property Trump's Justice Department is claiming is an investment property was being occupied by relatives, who were not paying rent. Do you think that could be part of the reason why career prosecutors were reluctant to move forward with this case in the first place?

Schumer: I haven't seen the specific factual affidavits and things like that, but yes, it was absolutely clear that they had no case, and one of them was fired because he wouldn't do it— to his integrity, said, there's no case here. I'm not going forward. Then they find another one. It is. It is just such a hallmark of tyrannical, autocratic dictatorship societies that they use the prosecutorial department as a political weapon. It is a disgrace, and every American, I don't care if you're Democrat, Republican, liberal, conservative, moderate people, should be forcefully rising up against this, speaking out against it, and making it clear how inimical this is to what our democracy has been for, stood for, for, you know, more than two centuries.
