I am writing to invite you to my upcoming Job & Career Fair on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Employment Security and Waubonsee Community College. 

WHERE: Waubonsee Community College’s Sugar Grove Campus at their Academic and Professional Center, near the Waubonsee Drive North Entrance off Route 47.

WHEN: October 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CT

There will be an optional professional workshop, How to Work for the State of Illinois, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Free professional headshots will be available throughout the event. 

FOR JOB SEEKERS: 

For individuals seeking employment, this event is intended to ensure you have every opportunity to connect with area businesses and government agencies seeking employees.

Pre-registration is encouraged for a smoother check-in, but walk-ins are welcome! If you don’t register in advance, simply register at the entrance upon arrival.

This event offers employers the opportunity to meet job seekers face-to-face, showcase career opportunities, and fill open positions with top talent from our community.
