On Wednesday, February 6th at 10 a.m., two of my Committees will hold hearings on topics that I believe may interest you:
- Judiciary Committee: Preventing Gun Violence: A Call to Action
- Oversight Committee: Hearing on H.R. 1, Strengthening Ethics Rules for the Executive Branch
As a member of the House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I am eagerly awaiting the momentous Judiciary hearing, which will be the first congressional hearing on gun violence prevention in eight years.
I am also looking forward to the Oversight hearing, which will give me the opportunity to discuss my bill to strengthen the Office of Government Ethics, the independent agency responsible for preventing and resolving conflicts of interest within the Executive Branch.
