Dear constituent,
This week, my team and I have been busy advocating for West Michigan values in Congress. For the newsletter this week, in lieu of our typical format, I wanted to share our 100 Day Report with you. To see what we’ve been up to this week, follow us @RepScholten on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
My office has been working hard since January to represent you in Congress. I’m so proud of all of the work that we have done so far. To read the full 100 day report, click here.
Letter to MI-03
To start off, I wanted to include my letter to all of the wonderful people of MI-03 below. Without you all and your input, we couldn’t be doing the work we’re doing every day.
Serving Constituents Across MI-03
My office hit the ground running on day one, securing high returns for constituents, community visits, and cases opened. I’m so proud of our team for doing this work—we’re just getting started serving the working families of West Michigan!
One of the biggest returns we secured was for Baruch Ministries. The resources we secured for them will allow them to continue to do the good work they’re doing for the people of West Michigan! Read the full story below.
Legislative Accomplishments
Just in my first 100 days, I introduced two bipartisan pieces of legislation and led on issues that matter deeply to West Michiganders. Every day, I work across the aisle to create common sense solutions to problems that West Michiganders are facing. I’m proud to bring my expertise and experience to my legislative work in Congress—see what we’ve been up to below!
Delivering on My Priorities
When I first took office, I determined three priorities for my first term in Congress. Every day, I work to improve infrastructure and transportation systems in Michigan, support our small businesses and entrepreneurs, and uplift the next generation of West Michiganders. See how I’ve delivered on these priorities below.
Working for You
I’m so proud of all of the work my team and I have done, working for the people of West Michigan. I’m so grateful for engaged constituents, letting me know how I can better serve them. If you have any ideas or feedback, please get in touch with our office at scholten.house.gov.
Next week, I’ll be in Washington representing West Michigan! Stay up-to-date on our social media and follow us @RepScholten.
See you next week,
Hillary J. Scholten
Member of Congress
