Dear Friend,
As the summer winds down, we’re back in Minnesota for the congressional August District Work Period. Check out some of my recent stops below.
On Monday, we hit the ground running. Read on to learn more…
Congressman Emmer tours Ultra Machining Company
Early in the day, we toured Ultra Machining Company (UMC) in Monticello. While there, we were given a tour of their impressive facility and had a productive conversation about the work we are doing in Congress to support American manufacturing.
Congressman Emmer meets with Lakes Gas
Later, we met with leaders from Lakes Gas in Clear Lake. While there, we discussed H.R. 1, the Lower Energy Costs Act, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this year, to streamline the energy permitting process and restore American energy dominance around the world. We also received a tour of the Lakes Gas facility and even had the chance to jump into the cab of one of their trucks.
Congressman Emmer speaks at Delano Honors the Blue
We concluded the day at Delano Honors the Blue, a law enforcement appreciation event in my hometown. We are grateful for all the brave men and women of law enforcement who selflessly risk their lives daily to protect our Delano, Wright County, and Minnesota. It was inspiring to see so many in our community come together to celebrate these heroes.
Finally, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a constituent Town Hall in Big Lake on August 7th at 6:00 PM. Click the banner above for more information.
Sincerely,
|
