Congressional Art Competition
The deadline to enter the Congressional Art Competition has been extended! Submissions will now be accepted until 5:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. The Congressional Institute, which officially hosts the competition in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer and the Architect of the Capitol, has decided to extend the deadline for submissions.
All high school students are invited to participate in this longstanding U.S. Capitol tradition, which is an excellent opportunity for students from across the district to showcase their creativity and hard work. The competition is open to all public, private, charter, and home school students in grades nine through 12.
