Military Academy Nominations

As a Member of Congress, I have the honor of nominating up to ten candidates for appointments to U.S. service academies. The honor of attending one of these academies comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.

Congressional App Challenge

The Congressional App Challenge encourages students to receive national recognition for an app of their own creation! Middle and high school students are invited to participate. The competition deadline is Friday, November 1, at 11:00 AM CT.

Internships

Are you interested in learning more about the legislative process and gain valuable experience working in Congress? Internships are available in my Washington, D.C. office and my district offices for Fall, Spring, and Summer! All college students are welcome to apply.

Congressional Art Competition

This Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students in Minnesota's 7th District. Winners will have their art displayed in my D.C. and district offices, and First Place will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for Members, visitors, and staff to see. The winning artwork is also featured on the Congressional Art Competition page.

The 2025 art competition dates will be released in March 2025 and the submission deadline typically falls near the end of April or the beginning of May, but it's never too late to get started on your submission! Visit my website for more information.
