Dear Friend:
I hope this message finds you well.
Today is day 35 of the Schumer Shutdown. 81,000 SNAP enrollees across the Treasure State have seen a disruption in their benefits. 14,000 federal workers in Montana are either furloughed or working without pay, threatening their financial security and that of their families.
Enough is enough. It's time to stop playing partisan politics and put the health and well-being of the American people first. That's why my Republican colleagues and I have voted 15 combined times to fund the critical programs that central and eastern Montanans rely on. We stand ready to do it again at a moment's notice.
Keep reading to learn more about my recent travels around the district checking in on Montanans amid the shutdown, the work my office is doing to serve you, and much more! |
