This week, during the Financial Services Committee hearing, I highlighted how bank-FinTech partnerships can help expand access to banking services in rural communities like those in Montana. Congress and regulators should foster innovation that strengthens competition, modernizes our banking system, and helps rural Americans access financial services.
Last weekend, I visited the Baker Post Office to hear directly from local residents about the ongoing service issues impacting the community. I called on the Postmaster General to act. Montanans deserve answers and access to the full range of reliable postal services their communities depend on.

As a combat veteran, Military Appreciation Month holds special meaning for me. This month, we honor the brave men and women who have worn the uniform, and the families who serve alongside them through sacrifice, strength, and unwavering support. 
This week, the House passed the Veterans 2nd Amendment Protection Act, legislation I was proud to cosponsor. Our veterans should never lose their constitutional rights simply because they need assistance managing their VA benefits. This bill protects due process and defends the Second Amendment rights of those who served our nation.
