Friends,

Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter! It is the honor of my life to represent the people of New Hampshire in the People’s House and the stakes have never been higher.

We’re up against the biggest cuts to Medicaid in American history, attacks on Social Security, our veterans, and sky-high prices on everything from groceries to gas to housing. I am fighting with everything I have to protect what matters most and deliver progress where we need it most: lowering costs, protecting our freedoms and democracy, and ensuring everyone gets a fair deal.

Through this newsletter, our team will send regular updates about what we are working on, how we are advancing New Hampshire’s priorities in Congress, and share resources for you and your family. For more real time updates on my work, follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, and Twitter.

HOW CAN WE HELP

Our team is here to help you. Whether you need support navigating a federal agency or help with a military academy nomination, we are here to serve you. Please be in touch by calling 603-226-1002 or by visiting Goodlander.House.Gov.

If you have been impacted by – or are concerned you may have been impacted by – a recent change in a federal policy or program, I want to hear from you. Please share your story here. The Trump Administration is issuing new executive actions and orders every day that are hurting hardworking Granite Staters. Your stories are one of the most powerful tools I have to use with my colleagues on the House Floor to fight back against the harm these actions are inflicting on our communities.

If you have witnessed potential wrongdoing under the Trump Administration, please report it to the House Oversight Committee here.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has issued an injunction commanding DOGE to comply with the citizen requests under the Freedom of Information Act. This law encompasses the Federal Privacy Act of 1974, which entitles any citizen to access personal information held in any U.S. government records system. DOGE has an obligation to respond to specific information demands from any of the 340 million U.S. citizens who exercise their legal right to defend their privacy and establish the security of their private information. If you’d like to complete this form, please find it on my website here.

Finally, quick reminder: it’s tax season, New Hampshire. The IRS Direct File tool is open and available for folks in New Hampshire – learn more and see if you qualify. Don’t forget, the deadline to file or request an extension is April 15, 2025.

EVENTS OF THE WEEK

Image**Congresswoman Goodlander answers questions from Granite Staters in Concord**

On Wednesday afternoon at my town hall in Concord, I heard what so many of you are feeling: righteous anger and real fear from the chaos of the Trump Administration. I feel it too. I see you, I hear you, and I’m fighting to protect what matters most with everything I’ve got.

Thank you to everyone who came out in Concord to make their voices heard. This is one of many conversations. If you weren’t able to make it, you can watch the full event here.

Conversations at town halls matter. At a recent town hall in Keene, John and his wife, Claudia, came to the microphone and shared the absolutely essential role Medicaid plays in their daily lives. John has Multiple Sclerosis and receives care at the Monadnock Adult Care Center, one of only 11 adult care centers in the state.

I will never forget what they shared with me that day.

Earlier this week, I visited John and Claudia and their extraordinary community at the Monadnock Adult Care Center in Jaffrey. Seeing firsthand the life-changing care that people from 16 towns across New Hampshire receive there every single day gives me hope and the energy I need for the fight to protect Medicaid.

For 135 years, the New Hampshire Veterans Home has been honoring the men and women who have served our nation in uniform with unparalleled care and community. It was an honor to visit with this group this week, and in Congress, I will always advocate for our veterans.

**Congresswoman Goodlander answers questions from WMUR’s Adam Sexton**

It was great to talk to WMUR’s Adam Sexton about my work in Congress fighting for what matters most to New Hampshire, including the high cost of living and President Trump’s ongoing trade war.

Tariffs are a powerful tool of economic statecraft – but when they’re wielded without any regard for what it means for the people on the ground, they are incredibly dangerous.

**Congresswoman Goodlander visits the Littleton Social Security office to speak out after President Trump and Elon Musk attack Social Security and threaten to close the Littleton office**

Social Security is a bedrock promise that we make to one another. Closing the Littleton office will mean cutting off access to Social Security services for many Granite Staters who rely on these benefits arriving reliably each month or forcing them to travel 100+ miles to the next closest office. This is unacceptable and I will fight for this quintessential American program with everything I’ve got.

Onward,
