My dad always said he got his education from the United States Navy. I think about his words often, especially as I represent New Hampshire on the House Armed Services Committee.

To all the women who serve in our Armed Forces: thank you.
Women in our Armed Forces make America safer and our military stronger. But far too often, the stories of these American heroes have been erased.
I was proud to help bring together a group of veterans, creators, and historians for an impactful discussion about the past, present, and future imperative of American women in America’s Armed Forces.

It was wonderful to have Denise, a veteran from Nashua, join the conversation.
Women’s voices and contributions make a real difference in the mission of our military, and I will continue fighting to ensure they are heard in Congress. |
