Friends,

This past week, America got a taste of what the Granite State is all about.

Good Morning America came to the top of Mount Washington — the highest point in New England — as part of the ‘50 States in 50 Weeks’ tour, and New Hampshire did not disappoint.

Watch what I had to say about New Hampshire on Good Morning America here.

While we were up there, I got to meet some of the truly patriotic public servants of New Hampshire Fish and Game. This team is a national treasure. They connect us to New Hampshire’s epic outdoor life and keep us all safe.

Proud to work for and alongside these public servants, including two of our four-legged officers, Moxie and Cora.

You just can't beat the view from Mount Washington.

It was such an honor to be a part of celebrating New Hampshire and to showcase our tallest treasure: The Mount Washington Observatory. The Mount Washington Observatory is America's observatory, and I am proud to bring the work and voices of this institution to Congress.

It was a full morning at the summit, where I had a wide-ranging and inspiring conversation with local leaders about how we can all work together to make the absolute most of New Hampshire’s unmatched natural beauty to strengthen our economy and way of life for generations to come.

Learn more about our conversation and my work to deliver for New Hampshire’s economy here.

This conversation could not have been more timely — New Hampshire is home to the most beautiful land in America, and outdoor recreation is core to our way of life. I look forward to bringing our conversations to Congress to protect what matters most.

TACKLING THE COST CRISIS

As New Hampshire heads back to school, I had the chance to sit down over coffee with an extraordinary group of Granite State women in Nashua. They came from towns across our district — from Sutton to Atkinson, from Peterborough to Pembroke, and from Hillsborough to Nashua. They’re all advocates with MomsRising.

I learned a lot from them about the many ways that Trumpflation is making their lives more expensive: from back-to-school supplies to life-saving healthcare for their kids.

I’m so proud to be working for and alongside these amazing moms to tackle Trumpflation and make life affordable, safe, and free for people across our state.

President Trump’s lawless and chaotic tariffs are raising costs in all aspects of our economy — including housing.

Watch more about our conversation and my work to expand access to affordable housing here.

Having a home is a cornerstone of the American Dream – but for far too many Granite Staters, sky-high costs are keeping home ownership out of reach. That has lasting impacts on our communities and our economy.

One of my top priorities in Congress is making housing more affordable for hardworking Granite Staters, and I’m grateful to have such strong, innovative partners like those I sat down with in Salem to address this crisis head-on to expand the supply of housing and lower costs across the board.

STANDING UP FOR OUR FARMERS

Image

To our local farmers: thank you for moving our communities forward.

I grew up right down the road from my great-grandparents' family farm in Nashua – I know how important New Hampshire’s farms are to the health of our communities and economy.

Read more about our conversation and how we can deliver for our local farmers from NHPR here.

I had a fantastic morning with local organic farmers from Weare, New Boston, Hillsborough, Nelson, Chichester, and Concord. We covered a lot of ground — from the critical role federal programs play in their work to the ways we can rein in the power of Big Ag in America.

I’m proud to fight for New Hampshire’s incredible and resilient farmers in Congress and on the House Small Business Committee, and I look forward to using the lessons of our conversation to drive change.

Read my full letter to Secretary Rollins here.

In July of this year, the Trump Administration announced plans to upend the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and move employees and key offices out of New Hampshire.

I’m fighting with every tool I have to make sure our farmers have what they need to thrive. That’s why I’m pushing the Trump Administration to change course.

SUPPORTING OUR NEIGHBORS

Watch more from my conversation at Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center here.

The GOP’s Big, Brutal Budget made the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history.

Image

So great to meet Clara at the Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center!

Hardworking families across New Hampshire are paying the price and bearing the burdens of these cuts, including the amazing people I met in Antrim at the Grapevine Family and Community Resource Center.

The dedicated people behind our family resource centers should be celebrated and supported for their work. But GOP cuts are making their jobs harder and the lives of the people they serve worse. Our conversation is why I will never stop fighting to protect the programs that Granite Staters rely on.

No one should go hungry here in New Hampshire — and Meals On Wheels is helping make that true.

Meals On Wheels of Hillsborough County is a lifeline for the Granite Staters they serve — from delivering nutritious meals to forming deep community bonds.

   Image

Incredible Granite Staters like Bob and Marilyn drive me forward.

It was great to be with the amazing Meals on Wheels team at the Nashua Senior Center and then out delivering meals with Bob. I got to see firsthand the impact of this awesome organization for Granite Staters, including Marilyn in Hudson, and to hear how I can support this organization and our community in Congress.

Image

We must support those in need — not attack them.

Housing is healthcare. But the Trump Administration is ripping that dream and care away from Granite Staters with its reckless and lawless budget.

In Nashua, I had an important and productive conversation with public servants and service providers who are working with everything they’ve got to deliver the American Dream and basic healthcare to fellow citizens in Nashua and across southern New Hampshire. I’m grateful every day to be working alongside them and fighting for them in Congress.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS

Image

It’s essential to know your rights in order to exercise them and protect them.

I carry my Constitution with me everywhere I go — and now, more than ever, it is critical that we know our rights and the rights of our neighbors.

Learn more about your rights during interactions with federal law enforcement officers here.

That’s why I hosted a conversation with local leaders and advocates in Nashua about the importance of knowing your rights during interactions with ICE officers and staying informed so you can assert your rights confidently, no matter the situation.

Watch my full reflection after our conversation here.

SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT

Image
I am proud to bring the voices and priorities of New Hampshire’s small businesses to the House Small Business Committee.

New Hampshire's small businesses are the beating heart of our economy. In Salem, I sat down with community banks from across the state to talk about how we can better support them in lending to and investing in small businesses.

We dug into the successes they’ve seen, the red tape they face in accessing federal funding and benefits through the Small Business Administration, and how I can be a partner in Congress to ensure small businesses have what they need to thrive.

Image

New Hampshire’s economy was built on paper mills — and I am proud to fight for them in Congress.

When you have been making paper products as long as White Mountain Paper company, you learn a thing or two.

In Gorham, I toured one of the oldest operating paper mills in the United States and spoke with leadership and staff about how they are using this 90-acre site to produce high-quality products, create jobs, and fuel our economy.

I’m proud to be fighting for the North Country in Congress.

LITIGATION UPDATE

Here in the Live Free or Die state, we know that everyone deserves equal protection under the law, no matter who you are or who you love.

Image
I will never stop working to ensure you have the right to be you.

That’s the fundamental American idea we’re advocating for in this legal brief to the United States Supreme Court.

Read our legal brief and learn more about my work to protect your fundamental freedoms here.

Image
Women’s voices are key to moving our country forward.

105 years ago, the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution became law, and American women got the right to vote at long last. Today, the fight to protect that fundamental right is real, and I’m never giving up.

(Looking at you, Pete Hegseth.)

PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Watch more from my visit to the Lancaster fair here.

I love a fair, and this week in Lancaster, Granite Staters brought the energy!

Fantastic to spend the afternoon walking from booth to booth, meeting with the incredible small businesses and organizations that define the community. Proud to bring your voices to Congress.
