Friends,

I want to take a moment to talk about an ongoing battle that, at its core, is about justice and transparency.

If you’re serious about justice for victims of crime, release the Epstein files. Watch my full video about the Epstein files here.

Image

Watch the Epstein survivors’ powerful testimony on Capitol Hill this week here.

At bottom, the Epstein case is about young women and girls in this country who were subjected to the most heinous crimes by rich, powerful people who have never been held accountable. This is about basic transparency and justice for victims of crime. That’s why I’m supporting legislation that would deliver just that.

TACKLING TRUMPFLATION AND PROTECTING YOUR HEALTHCARE

Healthcare costs are already sky high, and they’re about to get even higher thanks to the GOP’s Big, Brutal Budget that made the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history. That legislation was so fiscally irresponsible that no matter how you get your health insurance, you are going to see your costs go up.

Image

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities reports that the average tax cut for one millionaire means ripping healthcare away from four hardworking Americans.

Part of those drastic healthcare cuts were to the Affordable Care Act’s premium tax credits, which have been the difference between life and death for thousands of people across America — people like Jen, right here in New Hampshire.

Image

In 2019, New Hampshire’s own Jen Fitzsimmons was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. The Affordable Care Act’s enhanced premium tax credits made her payment go from $950 a month to $300 a month. Learn more about Jen’s story here.

In New Hampshire alone, 68,000 Granite Staters have enrolled in the ACA’s enhanced premium tax credits. Families of four now save an average of  $2,400 on their annual health care premiums, and four in five Americans can find health coverage for $10 or less per month.

GOP cuts to healthcare are not hypothetical; they are causing real pain to real people across New Hampshire. But I’m fighting back.

That’s why I am proud to help lead the Health Care Affordability Act, legislation to make these popular tax credits permanent.

The work to protect the healthcare that you and your family rely on doesn't end with the ACA’s premium tax credits – that’s just the beginning.

Image

Learn more about this legislation, which would repeal changes to Medicaid cost-sharing requirements and handouts to Big Pharma.

This fight also includes going after the corporate monopolies that have jacked up healthcare costs for far too long. I went after these companies as Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice, and I am going after them now as your congresswoman.

I am proud to be working with Congressman Chris Pappas to pass the Protect Patients from Costly Care Act, commonsense legislation to end handouts to Big Pharma and save you and your family money.

Image

Republicans’ Big, Brutal Budget is jacking up costs across the board – and, according to the New York Times, even higher costs are looming.

The healthcare cost crisis is especially acute in our rural communities, where too many people are struggling and often completely unable to get the care they need, when they need it.

Image
Access to quality healthcare is essential for our communities to thrive.

I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the Rural Health Student Summit in Lebanon this weekend.

These young Americans inspire me and give me hope.

I have so much gratitude for all of the students I spoke with for their interest in pursuing healthcare careers in our rural communities and for their commitment to serving our neighbors who need it most.

I’m proud to stand up for our community health centers from Nashua to the North Country. You have a fighter in me. Read more about my work in the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript here.

THE HIGH COSTS OF LAWLESS TRADE WARS

Image

Trumpflation is impacting every sector of our economy. Read more from CNN here.

Unfortunately, healthcare costs aren’t the only way that President Trump’s reckless actions are hurting your wallet.

Image

Check out more updates on how Trump’s lawless trade wars will impact our economy from the Yale Budget Lab here.

Trump’s completely corrupt, unlawful trade wars are costing New Hampshire families on average $2,400 this year alone. I’m using every tool I have to fight back.

Since the start of Trump’s lawless trade wars, I’ve challenged his unlawful tariffs in court by filing legal briefs and have helped introduce multiple pieces of legislation to protect hardworking New Hampshire families and small businesses from the chaos.

Learn more about my work in Congress to protect our relationship with our neighbor to the north, Canada, here.

There is nothing more American than a people-powered kickoff for a U.S.-Canada Friendship Caravan in Peterborough’s historic Town Hall.

New Hampshire shares more than just a 58-mile border with Canada – our economies and communities are deeply intertwined. That’s what makes President Trump’s lawless and chaotic trade war with our neighbor to the north that much more devastating.

Thank you to Dan Grosz, Karl Kaiser, Terry Reeves, and Tom Burgess for hosting this important conversation.

The caravan made it all the way to Canada with Granite Staters of all ages and from all corners of our state.

I was proud to talk about how I am standing up to President Trump and his reckless trade wars at the US-Canada Friendship Caravan Kickoff this week in Peterborough.

It was fantastic to visit the family-owned Wheel House Bike Shop at Arrowhead in Claremont, where we talked about how we can work together to mitigate the impact of Trumpflation on our biking community.

Image
Hardworking Granite Staters are paying the price of Trump’s tariffs, and it’s not right.

Last month, a federal appeals court issued a decision reflecting what we’ve known all along: Trump’s tariffs are illegal.

I’m fighting in Congress and the courts to end President Trump’s lawless and chaotic trade wars once and for all.

SUPPORTING OUR STUDENTS

Image
Thank you to the students at Claremont’s Tech Center and Middle School for such a warm welcome and fantastic visit.

I had the honor of visiting Claremont’s amazing regional Tech Center and Middle School, which is in the middle of a funding crisis.

Image

Teaching and learning are the ultimate acts of optimism, and I’m proud to support both in Congress.

My big takeaway from my visit: Claremont’s students are America’s future.

Image
I’m grateful to the teachers and staff at Claremont’s Tech Center and Middle School who are inspiring a new generation of leaders.

Watch more about my visit here with the indomitable Claremonters who are stepping up for their community.

I will never stop fighting to make sure New Hampshire students have the resources they need to thrive. Learn more about my work to support students from WMUR here.

I'm working with everything I've got to ensure every penny promised to New Hampshire is delivered to our state.

Image

Thank you to Justin Martin, Mayor Dale Girard, and Nick Koloski for spending the afternoon with me in Claremont!

After my visit to the Tech Center, I had a chance to spend some time at the Claremont Community Center and with the students who head there after school. Across our state, community centers are key to what makes New Hampshire such an incredible place to call home, especially for young Granite Staters.

Wonderful visit to the Claremont Community Center to see their impact firsthand.

SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS

Image

Read more about how President Trump is breaking our country’s sacred promise to immigrant servicemembers from Military.com, here.

For decades, brave women and men who immigrated to America have put on the uniform to serve in our Armed Forces. They risked everything for our country. The Trump Administration's move to betray the promises that our government made to them is dishonorable and dangerous.

That's why I'm working to fully investigate the Trump Administration's betrayal of our servicemembers, veterans, and military families.

Read more about how I am fighting to protect those who serve in our Armed Forces here. I’m also fighting back against corporate abuses of power in our defense sector that undermine America’s military readiness and are a prolific driver of waste, fraud, and abuse.

Image

The U.S. military should have the agency and material support they need to repair and maintain the equipment they rely on.

Simply put, it is an outrage that corporate contracts are preventing our troops from repairing their own equipment.

I’m proud to be leading the Warrior Right to Repair Act of 2025, which will ensure the right of America’s military troops to repair their own equipment is enshrined in federal law.

Read more about the Warrior Right to Repair Act of 2025, which I helped introduce this week, here.

Image

Read more about President Trump’s senseless pet project to rename the Department of Defense from NPR here.

Donald Trump is wasting taxpayer dollars on a vanity rebrand project to distract from his failed leadership.

Renaming the Department of Defense won’t do a thing to make our country safer or stronger. I’ve got a better idea: fire Pete Hegseth.

Watch my questioning of Pete Hegseth in the House Armed Services Committee: I asked him about his refusal to follow Supreme Court rulings and his failure to deliver the Pentagon's budget.

Image

Our servicemembers and veterans deserve access to the full slate of healthcare they have earned. Period.

In Congress, I’m working to make sure that everyone in America, including our servicemembers and veterans, gets access to the healthcare they need when they need it. The Trump Administration is imposing a near-total ban on abortion care at the VA.

That’s not right, and I’m fighting back and leading commonsense legislation to ensure those who fight for our freedoms have the freedom to get the healthcare they need without interference.

CREATING CONNECTION IN THE GRANITE STATE

Image
Watch my full remarks about the importance of expanding broadband access in New Hampshire here.

In Congress, I’m working to make sure everyone in our state has access to reliable and affordable internet. This past week, in a House Small Business Committee hearing, I made the case for expanding rural broadband in New Hampshire and pressed expert witnesses about the impact of the Trump Administration's senseless freeze on $191 million in federal funding promised to New Hampshire.

I won't give up this fight.

Image

I sent a letter urging U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick to reverse recently announced changes to the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program that would delay broadband expansion across rural New Hampshire. Read my full letter here.
