As families across New Jersey begin to plan summer travel, I want to flag some important information regarding passports. The U.S. Department of State is currently experiencing unprecedented delays in processing passports. Before you book your travel, please review your travel requirements and passport needs and account for current passport processing and mailing times.

Our office can submit an urgent inquiry on your behalf to the appropriate U.S. Passport Agency officials, asking them to provide the status of your passport, and if necessary, to request their assistance in expediting the processing and completion of the passport.
