Dear Neighbors,
Another week away from Washington due to Speaker Mike Johnson canceling votes, but I’m still holding this corrupt administration accountable.
As a reminder, the last day to register to vote in the fall elections is October 13. You can do so at the New Jersey Voter Information Portal.
In this week's e-newsletter

Microplastics Letter On Monday, I joined my colleagues Rep. Bynum (OR-05) and Rep. Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) in leading a letter requesting Government Accountability Office Comptroller General Brown, to conduct a review of the Environmental Protection Agency’s efforts to monitor and evaluate the risks of human exposure to micro- and nanoplastics.
Even as the EPA's FY2023-FY2026 research plan approaches its conclusion, Congress lacks a clear assessment of what the EPA has accomplished in its work on microplastics and what work remains necessary to support reliable monitoring, risk assessment and potential regulatory action.
Addressing microplastic pollution is critical for protecting the health of Americans and safeguarding our waterways and ecosystems. Our constituents deserve to know what microplastic exposure means for their families’ health, and the requested information above will be critical in informing Congress’s work in tackling this challenge.
The Trump Corruption World Tour: Paid for by You The Trump administration is spending $20 million in taxpayer dollars to put Donald Trump on television, including ads that closely resemble his campaign ads. In the latest episode, I’m asking why taxpayers are footing the bill for Trump’s self-promotion.

App Challenge Update Every year, I look forward to seeing what students across New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District create for the Congressional App Challenge.
I have had the privilege of watching students take ideas they are passionate about and turn them into incredible and inspiring applications. While this will be my final year hosting the challenge, I am especially grateful to have one more opportunity to celebrate the creativity and talent of students in our district.
If you or someone you know is interested in participating, students have until October 26th to submit their apps.
Learn more about the challenge and how to participate here.
