I have some exciting news to share!
I recently introduced the bipartisan Home-Based Telemental Health Care Act, legislation that would expand telemental health services in rural Oregon—specifically those working in the farming, fishing, and forestry industries.
No one should have to travel long distances just to get basic health care. My legislation will save folks time, money, and resources by allowing them to see a mental health professional from the comfort of their own home.

This bill has strong support on both sides of the aisle, and I’m hopeful Congress will swiftly pass it and send it to the President to become law.
