Happy National Small Business Week!
Oregon’s Sixth District is home to so many great local businesses. I was proud to visit a few of them in Salem last week, along with members of the Salem Chamber.
From mouthwatering Asian fusion food to perfectly roasted coffee, there’s something for everyone in downtown Salem. Watch the video below to see where we went!
During the tour, I met with the owners and employees of these small businesses. We discussed some of the challenges that they are facing and how the federal government can better support them.
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and we have to provide them with the tools they need to thrive and continue creating jobs here in our district.
