Opposing President Biden, Speaker Pelosi’s March Toward Socialism

Last week, I voted against President Biden and Speaker Pelosi’s massive multi-trillion-dollar tax-and-spend legislation because it builds back bankrupt. It is a disaster for the American people. It raises taxes on small businesses so Biden and Pelosi can dole out nearly $300 billion in tax breaks to the wealthiest coastal elites. This legislation makes American companies less competitive in a global economy. The IRS will be weaponized to target small businesses and ordinary Americans. Worse yet, it does not include Hyde Amendment protections, paving the way for taxpayer dollars to be used to fund abortions. Contrary to the Biden administration’s claim, this bill will add hundreds of billions more in debt on the backs of future generations. I voted no and will continue to oppose this massive increase in the size and scope of the federal government.

Biden’s Strategic Oil Reserve Play is a Strategic Mistake

President Biden’s decision to release 50 million barrels from the nation’s strategic reserve is a strategic mistake. Before Biden took office, our nation was energy independent. The spike in the price of gas is self-inflicted because of Biden’s anti-energy policies, like cancelling critical pipelines. Rather than unleashing energy production in the United States, Biden begged other nations to increase their production. Biden releasing oil from the reserve isn’t about addressing high gas costs, it’s about trying to fix his plummeting approval ratings. They’re releasing only 50 million barrels; we average 18 million barrels per day. It’s barely a drop in the bucket. I spoke with CBS21 about the president's decision, watch by clicking the image below.

Continuing to Oppose Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

Last week, I joined several my colleagues in speaking on the floor of the House to share my opposition to President Biden’s vaccine mandate. I have cosponsored several pieces of legislation to do away with this misguided, unnecessary, and frankly unconstitutional mandate. Watch my remarks by clicking below.

Seniors’ Healthcare Costs Up Under Biden

Earlier this month, the Biden administration announced increases Medicare premiums for America’s seniors. Thanks to President Biden, you will pay more at the gas station, the grocery store and now for seniors’ medical bills. Click here to learn more about Biden’s Medicare premium increases.

In the Community

It was great to join municipal leaders to tour small businesses, which helped make Lititz, PA, one of the coolest small towns in the country! Don’t forget to support your favorite small businesses this Saturday!

Thanks to members of the Southern York County Business Association who spoke about the challenges facing their small businesses under the Biden administration with State Rep.
