News from Representative Deluzio

Dear Friend,

We all have big dreams for Western PA.

We want our region to be as strong as it can be, with good jobs and solid infrastructure. Earlier this week, I was at CCAC’s West Hills Center in North Fayette Township with Acting Labor Secretary Julie Su to celebrate the work of the Pittsburgh Workforce Hub and the new Electric Vehicle (EV) Automotive Technician Lab.

This lab is home to the first registered apprenticeship program for EV Automotive Technicians in the nation. It is poised to deliver a lot of high-quality certifications and to prepare students to succeed in a growing field. Folks in Western PA have long done the hard work to build this country. A 4-year degree can be a great thing, but college shouldn’t be a requirement for a shot at the American dream.

Western PA can be a leader in creating good jobs and real opportunities, because our workers are second to none.

I’m proud to see the Biden-Harris Administration make this investment in our region. Putting workers and the good people of Western PA first, that’s a top priority for me. I’ll always stand for workers—because building our workforce means building a stronger Western PA.

Very respectfully,
